Football participants are required to arrive at least an hour before games and at least 5-10 minutes early before practice begins-- this is considered being on-time.

Football participants are required to arrive at all practices and games prepared with ALL their gear, equipment, water for hydration (please put your names on your water bottles), warm outer layers when weather calls for it. Each piece of equipment is vital to safety and function on the field. Participants are expected keep ALL equipment and uniforms clean and well taken care of throughout the entire season.

It is very very important that Football participants be well hydrated and well nourished (full protein serving, fruit/ veggie and a grain or healthy carb selection-- not chips, candy or sugar loaded snacks) BEFORE arriving to practices and/or games. Sugar burns like high octane fast and hot-- players need a fuel source their bodies can draw-upon for two hours of hard practice and play.

Football is a sport of exertion and participants need a full tank to play on. Playing any sport on an empty tank increases the risk of injury exponentially and lessens the player's ability to perform (as well at to learn, absorb and master new skills).

Go Braves!
