Structure of Cheer (Braves Cheer)

Newton Braves Youth Football League (NBYFL) offers 3 divisions of instructional cheer to the youth of Newton, Andover and Green, ages 5 to 14 (K thru 8th grade). NBYFL Cheer is a subsidiary program managed by a Cheer Director who is appointed by the President of the League.
Instructional Divisions of Braves Cheer:
1) Introductory
2) Intermediate
3) Advanced
Within each division, Braves Cheer has the following levels:
1) Flag, PreClinic
2) Clinic, Super PeeWee
3) PeeWee, JV and Varsity
Each NBYFL level makes up a "Braves Squad".
Each Squad may consist of the following:
- Head Coach
- Coaches
- Assistant Coaches
- Cheerleaders
- Squad Parent
- Squad Photographer
