Purpose and Mission Statement

    1. Purpose. NBYFL is organized upon a nonstick basis as an amateur youth football club exclusively for instructional youth sports, athletics, fitness and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1986 (as amended), or the corresponding provision of any future federal law. Such purposes include but are not limited to:

        1. Fund raising and volunteer programs related to learning and developing in health, fitness, sports and athletics, for the benefit of the youth community of Green, Andover, and Newton, New Jersey.
        2. Fund raising to help kids whose families may have hardships afford participation in athletic program opportunities.
        3. Fund raising to help support operation of programs, provide training and background checks for coaches and volunteers, special program needs, game officials, maintain quality field and facilities, necessary and safe sporting equipment, and prominent guest speakers/visitors who can positively teach, influence and inspire youth.


      2. Mission Statement. To provide our youth participants with quality, organized, fun and "safety-first" athletic instruction and the fundamental principles of team sports and athleticism with focus on health and wellbeing. Our Program goals are to nurture characteristics and virtues which foster health and success in life, promulgating a brighter future for our participants and their respective communities. Winning is what happens for all when our youth participants gain and are strong in confidence, courage, compassion, consideration, commitment, good sportsmanship, respect, dedication, fair play, acceptance, work ethic, team integration, responsibility, and honor.
