Staff Volunteers

    1. Screening.  Staff working directly or tangentially with player participants must undergo an extensive background check, which may or may not include finger-printing.

      2. Appointment. Staff are appointed by President. Staff report to and are directed, supervised and managed by the President.

        3. Removal. Staff may resign, or be removed by action from the Board of Officers.

          4. Positions. Staff positions are as follows, and may be added to, amended, or left un-filled as decided by the President. 

            1. League Administrator. Assists President, Secretary and Treasurer. 
            2. Director of Concessions. Manages, maintains and runs NBYFL’s concession stand(s) including but not limited to inventory, pricing, sales, expenses, donations, contributions, collections, and staffing.
            3. Events & Volunteers Manager. Organizes and plans annual fund raising events and other league sponsored events. 
            4. Gift Relations Representative. Promotes NBYFL. Responsible for all duties related to strategizing, developing, obtaining, executing and maintaining NBYFL’s relations with donors and sponsors.
            5. Grant Impresario. Research, write and apply for Grants and Funding, organize and maintain all records related to applications (received or denied).
            6. "Hut" Manager. Manages league store, including but not limited to vendor relations, merchandise, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and sales. Promotes NBYFL and assists with branding and marketing. Manages promotional and marketing material.
            7. Media Manager. Promotes NBYFL. Manages and maintains NBYFL’s profile of youth service and charity, presence, accomplishments, information sharing and noteworthy affairs in all of League’s Social and other Media arenas.
            8. Press Liaison.  Promotes NBYFL. Develops, manages and maintains NBYFL’s profile of youth service and charity, accomplishments, presence and newsworthy affairs with news outlets, publications and organizations.
            9. Cheer Director. Responsible for managing and coordinating efforts, League goals, resources, and information for cheer program.

            5. Duties. Staff duties, as well as necessary skills, qualifications and experience levels shall be determined by the President for each specific position.

              6. Compensation. Staff persons shall receive no compensation for their services to the League. Staff persons are volunteers, not employees of the League.

                7. Limitations. Staff persons perform duties specific to their role as provided for in these Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. Staff persons are not authorized to conduct business, negotiate, sign or enter into contracts, purchases or agreements on behalf of NBYFL, unless directed by and authorized to do so by the President of the Board of Officers. Staff persons do not attend meetings of the Board of Trustees, or Board of Officers unless invited to do so respectively by a Trustee or the President of the Board of Officers.

                  8. Meetings. Staff can organize meetings with other staff and volunteers as seen fit in order to better accomplish and carryout their duties of service in the best interest of the League. Such meetings will be scheduled with the knowledge of the President and the League Administrator.
