Coach and Other Team Volunteers

    1. Screening. All volunteers working directly or tangentially with player participants must undergo an extensive background check, which includes finger-printing.

      2. Appointment. All Head Coaches are appointed by and/or approved by majority vote of the Board of Officers. Coaches are selected by Head Coach and approved by President. Team volunteers are selected and/or appointed respectively by each level’s Head Coach and Coaches.

        3. Service. All Coaches and Volunteers agree to be bound by and comply with the Policies and Code of Conduct Agreement of the League.

          4. Removal. Coaches and Volunteers may resign, or be removed by action from the Board of Officers, for any reason at any time.

            5. Positions. Volunteers are as follows, and may be added to, amended, or removed by majority vote of the Board of Officers: 

              1. Coaches. Required to have skills training, appropriate levels certification, background check, valid finger-printing, and are selected and appointed by Head Coach and approved by President.
              2. Team Parent(s). Selected and directed by team coaches each season.
              3. Team Photographer(s)/videographer(s). Selected and directed by team coaches each season.
              4. Team Statistician(s) and Record Keeper(s). Selected and directed by team coaches each season.
              5. First Aid Responder(s). Selected, appointed, orientated and managed by Safety Officer in conjunction with team coaches each season.
              6. Line Judges. Selected by coaches at each game in coordination with the League's Rec Coordinator, and should include volunteers from home and visiting teams.
