          2. parent(s) and guardian(s) are responsible for coverage of their Concession Stand duty time slot.
          3. it is expected that each player participants family will donate items to the Concession Stands to help replenish stock items, at least once or twice per season.
          4. a cash donation can be made to the Concession Stands in lieu of stock items.

          4. Team/Level Volunteers. Head Coaches select among volunteers for their respective levels. Each level needs at least one of the following  volunteers (which can be doubled up, shared between, etc.).

            1. Team Parent
            2. Team Photographer
            3. Team Videographer
            4. Team First Aid Responder

            5. Liability. NYBFL, its Trustees, Officers and Volunteers are not responsible or liable for injury or harm (personal or property) to participants, volunteers, parents, visitors, spectators, etc. at or during any practices, games, or events, or during any travel to and from practices, games or League sponsored activities.  Participants, parents, volunteers and attendees may be required to sign waivers in this regard.

              6. Drop Off and Pick Up. Parents are expected to drop off and pick up their participants on time. Participants must be walked into and out of practice and game fields by a parent or authorized adult. Participants shall not be dropped off and/or left at NBYFL activities without properly being checked-into the care of a coach. Participants will not be released from the care of a coach except into the hands of a parent or authorized adult. While it is NBYFL's preference that participants have at least one parent and/or accompanying adult present at and during NBYFL activities, it is understandable that sometimes this arrangement can not be achieved. In these instances, the participant's coach and or coaches must be made aware that the participant is being "dropped-off and left". To authorize someone to assist you in dropping off and picking up your player, please complete the authorization section during your child's registration process. Communication is key in keeping our community youth safe. This policy is important and necessary.

                7. Secure Meds Policy. If a participant must have medication of any kind at or during practices and/or games, including but not limited to inhalers, parents must either maintain these medications in their possession at all times during NBYFL activities and facilitate the participant's use; or give the medications to a participant's coach or Team First Aid Responder in a ziplock bag with written instructions and authorization to administer as needed/directed. It is very important that medications of any kind not be left in the possession of a participant, but be supervised in support of a participant's needs. If a participant is taking any medications or in need of inhalers, etc. it is imperative that the player's coaches be informed even if the parent is maintaining the medications.  It would also be wise to let the Team's First Aid Responder know. Exceptions to this policy can be reviewed and discussed with the President of the Board of Officers. The underlying purpose of this policy is to make sure that Coaches are aware of all his/her participant's conditions and that treatments remain in the safe keeping of a parent, a coach, or the team's First-Aid Responder.
