Coach Shell is JV's main videographer in addition to coaching. 2016 marks Coach Shell's 2nd year on our Braves coaching staff. Coach Shell previously coached in the Sparta Soccer and Little League Baseball programs and was also the President of Newton Little League for 2011 and 2012. Coach Shell is an IT Strategic Advisor, President of Hillside Planning Associates, Inc and holds PMP, PgMP and MPM Certifications in Project Management.

When asked about coaching, Coach Shell said, "Coaching is an enormous responsibility and I believe that what kids learn from us as a coach instructing them in a sport is secondary to what they learn from seeing how we conduct ourselves. I've realized over time that kids see right through the 'talk' and are always watching us and they hear everything. If I expect them to work hard, conduct themselves properly and be considerate to others so they can become honorable and dedicated young men, and I don't exemplify those things in my life then I will have no credibility with them."
