2016 is Coach Pappas' 6th year on our NBYFL Coaching Staff. Coach Pappas has a total of 11 years coaching experience in youth athletics. Coach Pappas played varsity athletics throughout high school. He graduated from NJIT with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and completed his graduate studies at University of Tennessee. Coach Pappas is an Engineering Manager for Alcoa Power and Propulsion.

When asked about coaching, Coach Pappas said, "Coaching introduces the fundamentals of discipline, teamwork and leadership; these qualities are cornerstones for success in sport and life." Coach Pappas quotes John Wooden, "When coaching, it's the little details that are vital. It's the little things that make big things happen."
