These options are used to change how you approve and reject messages. JammText has two kinds of message moderation.
- Manual approval. By default, JammText will require you to approve messages before they are displayed on the output screen. We strongly recommend users leave this default setting. For certain use cases, you may want to disable manual approval. This will automatically approve messages that you would otherwise have to approve to go to the display.
- Automatic filtering. JammText also includes automated filters. There are default filters and custom filters. The default filters include common English swear words. Custom filters are words that you enter. If the filters are enabled, JammText will automatically reject any messages containing words matching the list of filtered words. You will not see these messages in the control window.
You can have both manual approval and filters on (the default), or turn one off, or any combination.
