"b-Lim", also known as, b limitation, critical speed line, HSM region or unlimited speed line, is the area on a stability lobe diagram where the depth of cut is shallow enough that it produces low cutting forces and the tool can run at any speed.
This is the region that feed mills try to exploit. The depth of cut limit is critical and different for every tool/toolholder/machine/material combination.
