ERROR MESSAGE: SIM5 - Unable to Start Recording

The DAQ Module (SIM5) uses the audio codec in Windows to transmit data. This can get corrupted from other audio software, causing this error. It can also be caused if the DAQ Module is not plugged in or plugged in after the MillMax software is started.
In either case, the remedy is to insert the DAQ Module into a USB port, reboot Windows to clear the codec error and restart MillMax.
