When you are inside the working envelope of a machine tool, tap testing its spindle, having to exit to do simple commands on the PC can be frustrating and exhausting. With a remote viewfinder on your safety glasses or using the iPhone as a remote monitor, we can now use voice commands and confirm they were executed from inside the machine enclosure.

You can add hands-free voice commands to MillMax when running on Windows 10. For example, you can go through the Practice routine by saying "3" or "practice". Do the practice taps until alert is green and say "OK". Then say "4" or "measure" to start tapping the tool. Say "Coherence" or "Frequency FRF" to view accuracy of your measurements, the say "OK" to proceed to the next axis.
