KueIt uses the soundcard that you have selected in your preferences. To select a different soundcard, go to File->Preferences in Windows or KueIt->Preferences in Mac. Then, click on the Soundcard tab and select your soundcard in the pull down menu. This could be either your built-in 1/output jack or a high end external sound card.
The most common way to connect KueIt to a mixer is with an 1/to RCA cable from your computer's headphone output, into the aux input on your mixer. You must have the built in soundcard enabled in the preferences to use the headphone output (this is the default setting). If your mixer does not have an aux in, any available line level input will work. After inserting your 1/8 inch plug, make sure that your computer's volume is set to the maximum.
