I like to use Global Hot Keys, but it messes me up when I want to type in a search in other DJ programs. Is there a work-around to this?

Yes. We made it easy for you to disable Global Hot Keys temporary while using another program. Simply just hit the \ key to disable it and hit the ` to enable it again. These shortcuts only work if you have Global Hot Keys enabled in the preferences menu. Note: these shortcut keys are different in other languages since the keyboard layout is different. Check the program's help and manuals for the appropriate keys in that particular language.
