What if I have the wrong tool geometry setting?

The two stability lobe diagrams below show the same measurement of a tool. The one in red had no geometry features (chip breakers, variable helix or variable pitch, helix angle) selected. The brown lobe had the correct geometry, in this case chipbreakers from a rougher profile selected. As you can see the stable speeds are identical, only the maximum depth of cut in impacted. It will still lead you to the RIGHT speed, no guessing. The depth of cut may be conservative and could be improved upon with a few trial cuts.
