A user is colorblind, how will they use a Dashboard?

With most cases of colorblindness, the contrast of colors will be muted, but apparent enough to use. However with Achromatopsia, everything appears monochrome where green, yellow and red are indistinguishable, as shown below.
Have the user click on and hold down the speed needle with their mouse and rotate it around the dial. The chatter status will show "Stable" for green, "Chatter" for red and "Conditionally Stable" for yellow. The yellow conditionally stable may not be visible to someone with Achromatopsia (as shown above), but the other conditions will be.
Using the Accuracy (SLE) green/red gage may be impossible, but the Surface Finish (CDD) can be used.
